WAVE Team Strengthens Industrial Refrigeration Expertise Through Danfoss Training

Towards the end of last year, WAVE colleagues Gokul D M.inst.R and Fahad Nilofar attended the Advanced Industrial Refrigeration Training programme delivered by Danfoss in Chennai, further strengthening the company’s technical expertise in industrial refrigeration systems.
The programme focused primarily on ammonia refrigeration, providing delegates with a comprehensive understanding of both the fundamental principles and more advanced aspects of system design, operation and safety.
As ammonia continues to play a vital role in industrial refrigeration due to its efficiency and low environmental impact, developing specialist knowledge in this area remains an important investment for WAVE and its clients.
Throughout the training, Gokul and Fahad explored a wide range of Danfoss industrial refrigeration products, gaining a deeper understanding of the components used within large-scale refrigeration installations.
Sessions covered the application and operation of valves, controllers and safety devices, helping to reinforce best practice in system performance, reliability and operational safety.
A particular highlight of the programme was the opportunity to visit the Danfoss ammonia demonstration plant.
Seeing a working system in operation allowed delegates to connect classroom learning with real-world applications, providing valuable insight into component integration, system controls and the safety measures that underpin modern industrial refrigeration installations.
